Kanye - Street Lights Video
I cant tell if its the official or not (Im kinda losing my bloggers touch =/) but its not bad (not the way I would've done it though)
It kinda loses that mystery and mystique that the song has (which is why it's one of my favorites on 808's) but I kinda did like the effect they had on the streetlights.

Paranoid Video
KANYE WEST "PARANOID" feat: RIHANNA Dir: NABIL from nabil elderkin on Vimeo.
The real one (making the other fake...dummy)
I actually really like it, its like a modern version of "Thriller" (despite the fact that I personally dont really get the wolf)
I also noticed that the music is altered, probably to add a little extra shock and make everything look more surreal and crazy...speaking of crazy...that car Rihanna's driving is pretty impractical (who's ever heard of a one seater...besides formula one)
Long story short, I approve, good job on this one Ye (omg I hope he reads thisssss...no homo...)

Paranoid Video
Not a bad vid for one of my favorites on the CD. And there is tasteful semiNUDITY of Rihanna (like you haven't seen that before though)
Kinda plain though, I'd expect something a little more

Amazin Video
Amazing from kwest on Vimeo.
Is ironically not too amazing to me. Amazin is one of my FAVORITE songs on the CD and as artistic as Kanye has been being lately this one was a little too plain.
I get it hes showing how amazin the world is or something, but it looks more like a commercial for a travel agent than a video for a pretty good song.
Jeezy looked out of place too.

Kanye Storytellers

Is fresh and I felt weird for being excited like its a real concert.
He said a cool ass quote though: "You either die a hero, or live to be a villain"
Fresh is it not? But he goes on to say "Im chillin!"
UPDATE: I Just realized that came from Batman
Cant keep my eyes off the mullet...its kinda gay (good thing he cut it off recently)
I wish they didn't cut out the Radiohead diss thing though.

Kanye West - You Decide!

is an enigma...he is either the most secure in his manhood as possible, or very very homosexual. Lets look at the points of interest:
This statement:
In the past two, three years, all the gay people I’ve encountered have been, like, really, really, extremely dope. Y’know, I haven’t, like, gone to a gay bar, nor do I ever plan to.Is one for the very, very gay side. I dont know if he's noticed, but talking about that kind of stuff seems like...flirting. Sooo in the words of Dave Chappelle "nighty night, keep your butthole tight"
But where I would talk to a gay person — the conversation would be mostly around, like, art or design — it’d be really dope.
Then there is the mullet thing:
It can either be him trying to be different and have a certain "swag"(god I hate that word), or it can be him making a slow transition out of the closet...

There was also that picture a while ago where he and his entourage look like the gay rodeo, buuut the only really homo looking one is the guy in the leopard skin skinnys (and if you remove him they just look like normal dorks...with all due respect)
I dont really care to examine it anymore, as long as he keeps making good music (and lets hope for a rap album next) I cant really say anything either way...so you decide!

Welcome to Heartbreak!
KANYE WEST "Welcome To Heartbreak" Directed by Nabil from nabil elderkin on Vimeo.
Cool video, very artistic, but I dont know if my computer didnt completely buffer or load or something, cuz it has that pixelly effect that you get when a YouTube video doesn't load all the way.
If that was the desired efffect, its pretty cool (and seizure enducing) if not I look like a dummy.

AF1s & Heartbreak

So these were on HighSnobiety (and the Amajanese Blog if memory serves) and they could have been the Shoe of the Week...if you could tell they were for 808s & Heartbreak.
They look very fresh, and you can see the Heart on the tongue, but the little design in the back should show Kanye (for the dumb ones).

Kanye - Amazing Video?
This is obviously a rip of the Jay-Z video that Evan Roth made...and it is cool, and obviously took a bit of work.
Where it goes sour is that, Im pretty sure it's not Evan Roth's work (not on his website, duh) and the idiot who SHOULD have taken credit for coding it, instead cites it as the OFFICIAL VIDEO! (pretty sure its not, or it would be on Kanye's Blog...or maybe in a couple of hours he'll post it...and I will look quite stupid)
Dummy, now nobody will ever believe you wrote it...and you will GETS NO CASH!!!! >:O

808s & Heartbreak Artwork by Fred Hart
So I was on GoWhere and saw this guy (Fred Hart) had made individual artwork for each song on 808s and Heartbreak (all 12 of em!) and I have to say, Im impressed for the most part!
Some of them get a little repetitive but that's a strategy sometimes (Im an artist, I would know). Here are a few of my favorites of the group (click on the link for the kitten kaboodle or however you say that shxt!)

Operation: Humble Kanye
The Colbert ReportMon - Thurs 11:30pm / 10:30c
BACKSTORY: Colbert made a Christmas CD and wanted to take 808s and Heartbreaks position on iTunes. He did and "Kanye" made this post on Twitter.

HOWEVER: Kanye said on his blog that IT IS NOT HIM!!!!! (since he types in ALL CAPS ALL THE TIME!!!)
I find the entire thing funny (especially Colbert)

Kanye Remixes

Some of the weirdest people are getting on remixes for Kanye songs. I'll let you guess:
One is a rapper who claimed to be a druglord...but is in truth a former officer himself
And the other is...eff' it, think Baby Boy

Theater of the Mind & 808s & Heartbreak
Are both effectively leaked and downloadable (surprise...) and although I'm not posting a direct link (since the DMCA loves to eff with me...) you can find them where I do link you to
I haven't listened to either all the way but Luda looks promising and if you like Love Lockdown or Heartless, then Kanye should be a good fit for you

808's & Heartbreak

can surely be downloaded by now (even if you have to piece it together yourself like I may or may not have) and I have to say that for what it is (which is auto tuney singing and very little rap at all) it's pretty decent.
I haven't heard Welcome to Heartbreak and Bad News yet (at least not in good condition) but if you like Love Lockdown or Heartless the rest of the CD should be pretty good for you.

Remasterd Kanye Songs

Kanye said on his blog that these versions are remastered, similar to the Strong remaster, to make the 808s and taiko drums but to me they kinda drown out the vocals in Love Lockdown although everyone seems to love the beat much more than the vocals (evidenced by our Homecoming Dance with the double entendre very much intended).

Kanye West - Heartless Video
Heartless from kwest on Vimeo.
I personally like it (it's the artist/animator/graphic designer/all around art nigga inside of me :D) Kanye said it was inspired by the movie American Pop (no free link this time...) and it was filmed with real people and then drawn over by Hong Kongian (I know that's the wrong way to say it but I can't think of a right way) animators.
