The Avatar Movie
Im not going to count it out yet, despite the fact that that looks nothing like Aang and he looks nothing like a child.
I freaking loved that show and if M.Night Shyamalan fucks that up Im gonna be seriously peeved (trying out new vocab...)
Summer 2010 Im going to watch it...and if it sucks this is an open invitation that Im going to hunt you down and castrate you M.Night (no its not...because I could go to jail for that possibly...but Ill blog the hell out of you >_<)

Toy Story 3
Pisses me off for the fact that it doesn't come out for a full year. I really dont know what it could be about...but come on, its Toy Story, how could it suck?
Its also funny that I saw this because I read an FML that said something like " Today, I was so excited to see the Toy Story 3 trailer that I had to lay in bed a few minutes to calm down" and I LMFAO'ed

Last Day Dream
Last Day Dream from torbjon on Vimeo.
A pretty powerful short film by director Chris Milk. Its actually pretty full of substance despite the awkward screenshot up there (unless of course it changed to make me look crazy...)
Reeeeally makes you think you're a dying old white man...or watching a creepy short film about a white man's life...you decide I guess

Philips Carousel Commercial - Adam Berg
This is a commercial for a short film and I must say this looks cool as hell. I would definitely watch this movie if it has some resemblance of an explanation of whats happening there.
And another thing, how do you even MAKE that commercial?
I bet Lupe could spit a verse that makes it even cooler though (especially since Im listening to The Cool right now)

Battle
Battle The Movie "Teaser Trailer" from Battle The Movie on Vimeo.
A movie project that looks pretty interesting I must say.
If you wanna be apart of it (hopefully you're in Florida...if not...HA) check the myspace page
My connect on the matter says that its based around the theme of Battling between dancers, skaters, rappers, and the like and the trailer really got me into it (that and the cute girls within the trailer)
The little girl that says "Ill battle you myself, honey!" (no homo since I had to type that) pulls the whole thing together. Check it out if you can get on the space.

Kill Bill In One Minute
Kinda cool and Kill Bill was one incredible movie (well, two really)
I wish they could do that with the Godfather Trilogy, I would L My A Off

Jamie Foxx - Blame It Video Feat T-Pain
and a whooole bunch of other people (who have no point for being in the video):
Too bad it didn't have Jeezy's verse (which is made of LMAO) and No I don't know why so much of 106th & Park is at the end of it...Cameos from Ron Howard, Quincy Jones, Samuel L. Jackson, Forest Whitaker, Jake Gyllenhaal, Cedric The Entertainer, Morris Chesnut, Tatyana Ali, Bill Bellamy, and more.
Directed by Hype Williams.

Transformers 2
Is definitely not the title, it happens to be Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen but who wants to say (or type) all of that. If you get to watch the trailer in HD (like I did) you'll understand why you (and I) have to see this movie.
Oh yeah, and since it's Micheal Bay you can expect shit to blow up!

Friday the 13th

Was a pretty great movie (even though I saw it on Saturday the 14th...and although the experience could have been better) and surprise surprise:
Jason has CHANGED (tiny Spoiler alert)
He runs, he jumps, he set traps, he shoots a bow and arrow.
Oh yeah and he kills (but thats not so important)
The best thing about the movie I'd have to say was when the (only) black guy got smart (after getting dumb to go save his friend) and got a weapon and a frying pan shield...as is the custom though...he didnt...aww nevermind you know already. And when he got away and took off running everyone in the movie theater gave him alot of applause because he well...acted like a normal person rather than the idiotic movie people.
I dont feel like typing anymore so I'll leave on that
Things I Hate About The Movies
I would say the top three things (beside the outrageous prices) that annoy me are:
#3 - The Police Presence!
We all know that some dns has gone down (or will) but that is no reason to clear EVERYONE out (or make the others take the long way around to avoid it)
#2 - People Who Skip In Line
This is not as big a deal (especially since I skip when necessary) but when you jump in front of somebody and try to explain why you deserve to be there...its pretty douchebaggy
#1 - People Who Dont Respect Boundaries
And by that I mean when you leave a seat between yourself and a friend of the same sex ITS THERE FOR A REASON and just because the movie theater is packed tighter than Jessica Simpson in skinny jeans (no offense to Romo) that doesn't mean you can sit there with people you DONT KNOW and try to have movie conversation like we're friends. Im probably one of the friendliest people ever (because I hate awkard moments) but respect my space please (unless you're a girl, then you are very welcome to the seat)
However like I said, Im sure I annoy other people so heres a bonus on what is cool:
Yelling Out Funny Stuff
We all hate the idiot who talks to the movie, but when you actually yell out stuff thats funny, you get instant cool points (although most in the theater dont know you) so when you yell out "Oh it looks so REAL" during My Bloody Valentine 3D and everybody laughs, everyone has fun (or I just annooyed the ones who are actually into the movie)

The Un-Worthy of my Money!

The Uninvited?
I give it two fingers up...not thumbs...still dont get it?...the fingers...that aren't thumbs...and I'm not drinking tea...so they aren't pinkies...they're middle fingers duh.
I paid $10.50 to see this (and 75 cents for tire air...but thats a different rant) and NEVER have I been more disappointed while in a movie theater (see how specific I can be!)
In a non-spoilers way lets just say that the movie has no real conflict until about an hour in, and the only real laughs you'll get out of it is seeing how scared the other people in the audience are at incredibly predictable scare moments (if thats a word..or phrase)
There aren't even that many good chances to yell out stupid stuff to make everyone laugh (unlike My Bloody Valentine...which was rich with...moments)
Long story short the only good thing about the movie is that it has an ending (its kind of a twist I guess)
I rate it a: BUY THE BOOTLEG/10

Crank 2
Ok I loved Crank (1) it was funny as hell and action-ey (if thats a word) and it was at least a liittle believable
B-B-B-BUT! This looks completely impossible. period.
Most people splat when they fall from an effin helicopter, and the ones that do survive (if there are any) aren't immediately picked up by organ farmers who roam the streets apparently looking for plane crash victims.
Not only that but if there was a such thing as an electric heart...WE WOULD ALL HAVE ONE (or at least the people who need one would).
In NO WAY am I saying Im not gonna watch it...and it isn't a bad idea...but come on!

Dragonball Z All Over Again
But thats not the point...there is NO WAY that Dragonball Z can be made into a live action movie (although they're trying) It is too effing unreal to even try to make look real. Lets look at this:
Piccolo
- The alien (not the sticker and/or roller) okay yeah, there are good special effects artists but come on.
The Kamehameha/ Spirit Bomb/ any laser blasts.
- Will not look cool coming out of a live human.
Super Saiyan Hair
- Normal human hair doesn't point like that (and never will) and will look quite dumb no matter how hard they try.
Im just gonna stop there since this is starting to sound like a nerd rant (I save those for myself) and I'll just post the trailer I found on YouTube.

Notorious Trailer
This is the one they showed on the BET Awards (between all of the Obama references and Sarah Palin jokes)
I was a little to yound for BIG so I definitely gotta see this!

New Seth Rogen Movie

Based on platonic friends who need money and decide to get into the porn business. Wikipedia writes a much better article, but I wanna see it because Seth Rogen was involved with some of my favorite movies including: Pineapple Express, Superbad, Knocked Up, The 40 year old virgin, and etc.
This promo poster was apparently banned for movie theaters in the US.
