Giant Robots!!!

This is a result of the eccentricity of Japan (and why I want to visit sometime)They created a giant robot replica of the original mobile suit Gundam robot.

It lights up and I think it may move but just the fact that it's there (scaring the poop out of alien invaders) makes me feel all fuzzy (and nerdy) inside.

I've gotta take a MyspaceFacebook picture with it one day.

Why?

Would you make a toy of the Humping Robot (from Robot Chicken) I admit it WOULD be funny for an hour...but never again sadly.

Mr.Robot Head Game

Soooo...remember how robots are cool? Well when I saw this Mr.Robot Head game, I couldn't resist posting it.

































Here's the explanation for it:

Mr. Robot Head is electronic, but does not require batteries. It is powered with a handle in the back that has wind-up action. The object of the puzzle is to get the looped wand from one side of the wires on top of Mr. Robot Head to the other without touching the wire itself. When the wand touches the tantalizingly coiled wire, the robot’s LED eyes will madly flash and Mr. Robot Head will make strange noises.

It seems a little 80's but I would have loved it as a kid.

More Robots!!!

Like I said, I love robots (see here) and these wooden robots keep the tradition alive.

I realize they have NO practical use whatsoever but look at em...they're fresh!!!
